Cannon County Community for Animals is a nonprofit, 501c organization that is dedicated to caring for the companion animals of Cannon County through community awareness, networking, fostering, and most important: SPAY AND NEUTER!
About Us
CCCA was founded in 2015 by a group of community minded individuals who saw a need for a support system for companion animals within Cannon County. We help the stray dogs and cats in our community.
There is no county shelter, so we asked ourselves "Where do the unwanted dogs/cats go in Cannon County?" The answer was the streets, ditches, roaming, and starving. We want to change that for our generation, and for future generations.

Educational Programs

Promote Spay/Neuter Efforts in our community
SPAY AND NEUTER IS THE SOLUTION! Solve the issues in our county with the overpopulation of dogs and cats. We are working to provide funds for low income residents, and provide grant money to help spay and neuter. We have started a TRAP NEUTER RELEASE program with the feral cats in the area.
Support for homeless, neglected, and stray dogs and cats in Cannon County
We network, foster, and transport. Our transport is called "Cannon Paw Run", and works with rescues and programs in other states to help place dogs in a safe environment.
Maintain a Good Samaritan Pet Food/Pet Supplies Bank
This is a dog and cat food bank for the residents of Cannon County who rescue or have opened their home to homeless dogs and cats.
